UDK (Unreal Development Kit)

Okay, this is a free, extremely useful tool that is up for download right now. I really think this would make a perfect way to design the game. If anyone is willing to give it a try, go ahead.

Downloading the August 2010 Beta now. I'll get back here after I mess with it some.

The download is nearly 800 MB so make sure you have time to download it and a good connection.

Tried to downloadit earlier. Took two hours and then my ISP petered out...

Ok so I got it downloaded and installed, but whenever I launch it, I get an unknown error report that it stopped working properly and it closes

Huh. Yeah, that's weird. Mine just stalled exactly 3/4 of the way through. Meh, I'll try tomorrow.

I'll try and figure out what's wring with it tomorrow as I'm about to go to bed. If I find a solution, I'll post it so others can see it

I'm not going to bother reposting what was already posted. You can find it here along with the download link.

We're going to need higher end PCs to play this game if we are going to be using the Unreal engine so you may have to upgrade your computer some to be able to use the dev kit and play the game.

Only if you plan on making money off of it; either directly or indirectly
