Zombies... what types?
What types should there be!?
My ideas...
The Slug - Slower than other, covered in huge tumors, and is really fat. He has a better attack though, yet is easy to target the head.
The Runner - Faster than other zombies, not supposedly running, but a fresh corpse, still able to use all his muscles and such. He is fast, but weaker. Harder to target.

Well, I was picturing just one universal type of zombie- ones that just try to bite you, and no special ones, but, well... I guess they can all be a different level of difficulty based on how fresh they are.

Hmmmm, sorry I prefer the universal zombie thing. That "different zombies" idea has been used too much...

This is what I picture too, but having special infected based on how fresh they are or their size should work. It's not very realistic since all zombies are all technically fresh corpses (a dead person cannot get the infection and reanimate since Solanum needs a functional brain), but that could work if it's tweaked enough.
We'd have to be careful not to make them too different though. Perhaps give the brand new zombies a .75 speed increase and the fat ones you described a .50 speed decrease. Just so it's noticeable, but not overpowered.
You have to remember, people have to get head shots and if they're moving to fast the players don't stand a chance

There should be different zombies. I mean... they all can't be the same way.
Some zombies, which are faster, could have been zombies less of a time than others.
Older zombies, could be slower. Same with fat zombies.

Yep. The athlete zombie would be faster, but still slow. The fatso zombie would be much easier to headshot.
