Driving and Customizing Vehicles
A simple suggestion: Vehicles. What vehicles will we have, and how could we modify them (like put spikes or a machine gun on it)?

And specialties. Each group member could have a specialty like long-ranged weapons or Trap specialty (from barbed wire to mines).

What I was thinking was certain survivors you could choose to play as would just have special stats, like the drill sargeant guy can run faster and carry more ammo, but he is stronger (more meat) and thus zombies notice him more easily than other people, or the weird artist guy gets a big accuracy bonus on Arrow guns.
...But this is a discussion for another thread.

We should totally have different sets of vehicles, too.

That's a good idea. We could have a couple categories like:
Car: Good for getting places quickly, surplus supply of them, but they are easily stopped by a mob.
Truck: Great for getting through debris, more rare than a car and can push through most mobs, but uses a lot more gas.
Armored van: Incredibly rare, impenetrable, can drive through any mob, but uses lots of gas.

I think only the Engineer should be able to mod cars its not like the artist know how to plant a minigun on a van

I agree. Also:
Bus: rather slow, holds extremely large amounts of survivors, can plow down most mobs, but it is possible for a zombie to be hiding in these.
Tank: Slow, ridiculously rare, and impenetrable. Has an enormous turret that can destroy mobs in a matter of seconds (but attracts lots of attention and has only three shots), but only holds five people. It is remotely possible for a zombie to be in it somewhere.

We have to make sure that they are varying amounts of fuel in the cars and that they run fuel eventually so you either have to fill it up at the gas station, go to the gas station with a tank of gas and fill it up or get a new car.
Some cars can only be opened by car keys in the house where the car is parked.
